6 easy steps to your dream home
Unibilt modular homes are designed and constructed in large sections in an indoor, climate-controlled environment where there are no weather delays allowing us to maintain a predictable schedule. The finished modules are covered and transported to their new location where they are placed on your foundation by our own Unibilt delivery crew. Because they are placed on permanent basement and crawl space foundations, they should not be confused with manufactured homes. Unibilt homes are permanent structures “real property” that will provide your family with an incredible home that will hold its value.

CHOOSE A UNIBILT BUILDER FROM OUR NETWORK
Unibilt has a network of experienced, independent building companies. Your builder will serve as your liaison to Unibilt for your modular home and also construct any site improvements such as foundations, porches, garages, and other finishes necessary to complete the home on site. Shortly after meeting and discussing your plans, your builder will conduct a site visit with you to determine the scope of improvements required for the project.

CHOOSE YOUR FLOOR PLAN AND FINISHING MATERIALS
You can choose to use your own plans, let us design a custom plan for you, or select from one of our highly customizable floor plans. Unibilt offers Ranch, Cape Cod, and Two Story style homes. We can even combine any of these to create a unique style to meet your needs. Unibilt offers a wide variety of finishing materials for the interior and exterior design of your new home. Add your personal touch to your home by selecting from countless choices of windows, doors, fixtures, and finishes. Your Unibilt Builder works with you through every step of these important processes!

FINALIZE COST
Now that plans and finishing materials have been established, your Unibilt Builder can price out the cost of your new modular home, including all applicable site work, and develop a predictable timeline for the construction process. They can also be a good resource and coordinator for financing.

CONSTRUCTION
Once everything is finalized, your builder will start coordinating required surveys and permits. The groundbreaking for the foundation happens simultaneously with the construction of your Unibilt home. This reduces construction time and gets you in your custom home sooner. All of our materials are weather protected and your home is constructed in a climate controlled environment keeping it dry and secure until your site is ready for delivery. We welcome any new and current Unibilt homeowners to visit our facility during their new home’s construction.

DELIVERY
Your home is secure and weather protected until delivery day. Coordinating with your authorized builder and our delivery team, we transport your new home modules to your site. Most homes are set the same day, and are then ready for on-site finishes by your builder.

FINISHING TOUCHES
Lastly, all finishing touches are applied including plumbing, HVAC and electric hook ups along with any site-built amenities such as porches, garages and decks. Once the final touches are complete, the Unibilt Builder will conduct a walk-through with you to demonstrate the features of the home, address any concerns and discuss the warranty program & procedures. It is then time to move in! Welcome home.
